What is Bihar CM Pratigya Yojana?
Bihar CM Pratigya Yojana is an initiative launched by the Bihar Government to empower the youth for a brighter future. The scheme provides structured internship and skill development training across various sectors, enabling youth to gain practical work experience and improve their employment prospects.
Under this scheme, companies and institutions voluntarily participate to provide training and practical experience to interns. The internship is defined as a structured arrangement between an intern and a company / institution, where the company provides training, practical experience, and skill development opportunities. The financial assistance is provided directly to beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) during the internship period.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- Age of the applicant must be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on the date of application.
- Minimum educational qualification: 12th Pass, or ITI / Diploma holder, or completed a Government Skill Training or other certificate course of 6 months or more duration, or Graduation / Post Graduation in any subject.
- Candidates currently enrolled in any skill training, apprenticeship, internship or Central / State Government student training scheme are NOT eligible.
- Candidates who are currently employed are also NOT eligible.

How To Apply Online For CM Pratigya Yojana 2026
- Step 1 - Visit the official CM Pratigya Yojana website https://cmpratigya.bihar.gov.in
- Step 2 - Click on "Online Registration" on the Home Page.
- Step 3 - Fill in your personal details, educational qualification and other required information carefully.
- Step 4 - Upload all required documents including Aadhaar Card, Educational Certificates, Bank Passbook and Photograph.
- Step 5 - Submit the registration form and note down your Application / Registration Number for future reference.
- Step 6 - After registration, login to your account and select your preferred internship / company from the available options.
- Step 7 - After selection and approval, the monthly financial assistance will be transferred directly to your bank account via DBT.
